Excellent service, staff were more than helpful, prices realistic and fair
POOR SERVICE - BAD ATTITUDEI received my brand new lease hire Kia Sportage in March 2016, roll onto approx Aug 2018 I purchased 4 new tyres via Black Circles and their recommended garage was Bourne Auto Centre Ltd. After having the 4 tyres fitted at Bourne Auto Centre, I noticed that my TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system was displaying fault) then it was okay, then faulty. I thought maybe it will take a while to settle down. After a couple of months the TPMS system was constantly faulty and i noticed a rattling noise in one of the front wheels.I took it to Victor Wood Kia in Grantham and after the mechanic inspected it he stated that it was the front NS tyre pressure (TPMS) valve that had been rattling round in the tyre/rim. He said that it had obviously been broken by someone and glued back on with black silicone sealant, but it had eventually dislodged itself, he said that the cost to supply and fit a new one would be 168. Now since having the car, the tyres had never been touched or taken off, it had only ever been to one place for tyres, so I headed back to Bourne Auto Centre. When I arrived i asked to speak to the manager, the lady said she was the manager/owner, I explained the story and she immediately said THEY HAD'NT broken it! I then asked her to explain how else it could have happened? she then asked me to stop shouting (which i wasn't) and told me that something had fell on her head the previous day and she had a really bad headache?She would not accept responsibility and after 10 minutes or so of discussing/arguing, she said that a lot of their mechanics had left so she probably couldn't get to the bottom of it anyway!!!! Funnily enough, the mechanic who had fitted my tyres was stood right next to me in the office!She then asked me to provide a full written report from Kia Grantham, which I posted to them a few weeks later, but I have never heard anything since. If you decide to use this place, check everything is working on your vehicle BEFORE & AFTER!!! OR EVEN BETTER, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!Really annoyed and disappointed with this Garage and their whole attitude, will never use again and make sure none of my friends, family or colleagues don't! I have posted a couple of photos of my sensor on the See photos section, as you will see, the sensor should be nice and pink, the black is the sealant/glue!David HankinBourne.
