Decided to give this place another as our first experience wasnt too great. I wish we hadnt bothered. Hubby ordered a mixed grill and the lamb chop came out very rare and was taken back when it finally came back it wasnt edidble as it far too over cooked. I ordered rump and scampi. The steak was meant to be cooked medium but it was very well done and tough as old boots. The staff were helpful but didnt even offer anything as a replacement. We shall not be going back and would advise others not to waste their money.
Mashed up food all over the floor under the tables, very cold inside then when the food arrived it looked like they were putting us on rations. Oh and half the Sunday roast menu wasn't available. Great place
Good place to meet friends without having to book a table. Food was quick and tasty and good value when you can use the 2 for 1 offer (otherwise quite expensive for a single meal). Staff polite and professional.
I have visited this pub 4 times in the last year and never had a good meal. The food is close to inedible and the service is average to poor. When ever I talk with friends or neighbours, I have never had anyone say to me "I had a lovely meal there." It is very poor for overall experience and value for money.
We had a lovely meal tonight. Service was good and the food was tasty. As a veggie the choice was good. Two courses for 23....you can't go far wrong and we will definitely return.
