What a lovely place. Food was delicious and I left a lot fuller than I planned to be! Six bells was very well staffed. Waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive and all of them, without exception were smiley and helpful. I'll definitely be visiting again.
Stayed overnight here for business. The greeting upon arrival was second to none, warm and welcoming. Rooms are finished to a very high standard and provide extremely comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The food on offer for evening meals and breakfast is very tasty and prepared to the highest standards. I would highly recommend the Six Bells to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay.
we went for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere, decor and staff were very welcoming upon entry. The food was absolutely delightful and could not fault a single thing. All the food was home cooked to perfection and portions were more than ample. The ale and wine selection were good. Wednesday night special offer we will definitely be back for even though it is quiet a distance from me
Great place to stay. Clean well presented bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast included in the price was delicious, beautifully cooked and piping hot, I just had to eat the lot. I would recommend this as a place to stay if you are around this area.
Absolutely delightful country pub at the top of their game. First rate food, lovingly prepared to an excellent standard. Good prices with the small weekday lunch menu representing excellent value for money. Staff were all very pleasant. This was my second visit and I doubt it'll be my last.
