We usually have coffee here when we go to Bourne. Nicely refurbished front of hotel making a poular coffee area. Cakes look good too.
Stayed here for 12 days in November 2018 whilst working night shift nearby. Rating based upon value for money and great customer service. Room was clean and comfy. Cafe food was good too.
Door handle falling of was the first thing to fix when trying to get into room, shower didn't have any water coming out of hot tap, so strip wash was the best I could get.Light not working in hallway so couldn't see steps lucky I have a phone light!!!. Strong smell in stairwell of sewage can only think a broken waste pipe ( did say plumber was coming in, didn't say what for!), Breakfast was ok. I wish them well as the place needs a lot of love, and I can see some work has been done.
Stayed at the angel over the weekend for a function we had booked. Staff were fantastic, helpful and polite. Rooms were a good size to fit my 2 kids my wife and myself. Everything you need on your doorstep, can't wait to return. Plus there function room was amazing.
My apologies, the negative comments related to the Angel & Royal Hotel in Grantham, not the Angel Hotel in Bourne. Because I was anticipating a reminder to write a review about them, I did so on the form, without realising that the place where I had lunch at Bourne was called The Angel.My lunch at the Angel Hotel in Bourne was very nice, tasty, as was the meal chosen by my accompanying friend. The lady who served us and chatted awhile was lovely, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the Angel at Bourne to anyone.
